Here's the latest Rounders update. As of October 15th, 2007 we will start to send out regular updates on, or about the 1st and 15th of each month. Of course special or urgent notices will go out as needed.

How Much Do I Really Owe for My Macy's Trip?

By now, each person-performers and tag alongs--going to Macy's who

signed up for either the FULL or GROUND travel packages should

have paid $300.00.

If you have not made this payment, please do so immediately in order

to retain your reservation.  Pay online with a major credit card or mail

a check to the band PO Box.   Each performer who signed up for

either the PERFORMANCE or UNIQUE travel packages should have

now paid $100.00 per person.  Again, if you have not made this payment,

please do so immediately.  Tag-along amounts vary for the

PERFORMANCE and UNIQUE packages.    

By now you are probably asking how much, exactly, do you still owe? 

As it turns out, it depends on many factors!  For example, did you

sign up to attend Thanksgiving Dinner?, a Broadway show, perhaps?   

In order for each person to have the most complete picture of their

exact amount due, the planning committee has decided to take the

necessary time to create a new interactive tool that will be available

on our website and linked to your online profile.  This new tool will

help you manage your account in two very specific ways.  You'll be

able to:

1. Verify payment history for yourself and also for any family members or travel  companions who can all be linked together.  

2. Pick and choose (ala cart menu style) the various trip options that affect overall trip cost.  By adding or deleting various optional expenses, you'll be able to dynamically change your amount due. 

At this point, we anticipate Nov. 1^st as the date that these features will

be available.   Therefore, we thank you in advance for your patience, and

recommend that you wait until that time to address additional payment

related questions.

Macy's Fundraising Is Getting Underway

While the Macy's trip is a once in a life time opportunity and generating

a tremendous amount of excitement, it's also generating many new

expenses for our organization. In order to keep the Macy's trip cost

as low as possible and thus allow everyone the opportunity to

participate, we are increasing the number of fundraising

opportunities. Following are a few of the upcoming events.

Macy's Shop For A Cause! 

Our fundraising committee has been working very hard to create and produce events to raise much needed money for our band as we continue to plan for fabulous trip to NYC and Macy's!  The first of our special events is the annual Macy's Shop For A Cause!  This is a simple but great way to help the Rounders get to New York AND help you save money!  Here's how it works:  Purchase a discount ticket for just $5 and then plan to shop at any Macy's location on October 13th and receive a 20% discount! Save on regular, sale, and clearance apparel, bed and bath items, jewelry, house wares, kitchen and personal care electronics, and MORE!  The band gets to keep the $5 and you get to save, save, save!  Important!  Tickets are available at Bringe Music NOW and can also be purchased at Macy's in Tyrone Square Mall this Saturday and Sunday, September 29^th and 30th!           

2007 Halloween Party

Start planning your Halloween costume because Alex Gimon, Tricia Lee and the

Second Time Arounders invite you to our 2007 Halloween Party on Oct 27^th,

with the proceeds to benefit our trip!  Roast pig, sangria, beer, live steel drum

music, dancing, fun, and friends will be provided!  If you want to play music of

your own, please bring your instrument for an 'open mike' before and after the

steel drums!  Costumes are optional but clothes are NOT!  The best/most

original costume wins a prize!  Bring extra $ for a personalized Jack O'lantern

painted by a local artist and 50/50 tickets! Suggested donation of $15 is

requested with every dollar going directly to the band! 3405 Dr. Martin
