About the Second Time Arounders

Founded in 1983, The Second Time Arounders Marching Band was formed to perform for the Festival of States celebration in St. Petersburg, FL. The Band has grown over the years, and now has over 600 members. We range in age from 18 to 85, and represent more than 40 of the 50 states, as well as several foreign countries. The band rehearses only 5 times each year (auxiliary units and drum line 8 times), and has five to seven performances per year. The only requirement for membership is to have had experience in a high school or college marching band.

In 2008, we will have the great privilege to march in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!
